Me.. A blog writer, who’d a thought that! Well it’s been on my mind for a while since I stepped foot in this hot sunny land but a broken back mustering an unruly cow has given me the time to actually stop. Let’s just say it’s better than the other option of staring at the ceiling and watching awful day time tv whilst in recovery. Bare with me on the first few blogs I’m on lots of pain relief!

So this blog site is about me obviously and our life here in Queensland, Australia; a long way from Worcestershire, England where hence we came from 2 and a bit years ago. We are now cattle and cane farmers on the banks of the beautiful Mary River. I have two wonderful boys, Sam & Joe and an ever patient husband called Tom. A growing menagerie of animals, enough cattle to keep us on our toes and an ever growing acreage of sugar cane. Oh and we’ve built a house too..yes we’ve been busy!

So I hope you enjoy these posts and stories of our adventures past and present. There’s been funny, sad and many challenges to overcome as you can imagine. Moving to Australia from the UK, with a young family, a new business and all the emotions that entails has provided me with plenty of stories to hopefully entertain you with!

Lets just say it’s the hardest and the best thing I’ve ever done and it’s broken me at times..literally x
